The course serves to develop the maximum output as regards vocal extension, uniformity of registers, power and interpretative skill and expressivity, and to perform the repertoire.

The 1-hour lessons are individual, utilizing MRM Method and deal with the following subjects:

Breathing

  1. Knowledge of the phonatory system.
  2. Breathing from the diaphragm.
  3. Holding the breath and control of air flow.
  4. Elasticity of respiratory muscles.

Voice technique

  1. Timing.
  2. Resonance and warm-up.
  3. Vocal exercises.
  4. Work on Vocal Tract.
  5. Study of vocal classifications.
  6. Singing in different registered and study of passages.
  7. Voice practice.
  8. Elasticity of the soft palate (opening of the throat and elevation of the soft palate).
  9. Vocal focus
  10. Articulation and diction

Study of the repertoire

  1. Performance of progressively more difficult pieces of Italian and international popular music from pop to rock, from blues to jazz.
  2. Selection of pieces to sing on recorded bases.
  3. Singing with the microphone.

Further study

  1. Elements of vocal hygiene.
  2. Basic elements of phoniatrics.
  3. Listening.
